Baddap bap bap boom! It's a page!
Look away! Is it still a page? Or is it your nightmare painted on the monitor, glaring and drooling at your subconscious perception of its true form and the deep chill you feel within? Quietly and quickly, you'll turn your head back. There, you think. It's still just a comic. Nothing to be scared of. No flicker of red, so akin to blood vessels passing across the page; certainly no blackened, charred eye staring at you hungrily. It's just an update.
And then you turn away again.
